The pilot burner works with the PCB and pilot assembly to ensure that the fuel is ignited safely and efficiently. When the appliance is turned on the gas valve allows the gas into the burner and the pilot burner, a flame within the appliance is needed to ignite the gas which is coming into the main burner .
