Product Information: Usually, there are two different types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode causes the spark that begins combustion within the burner The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for checking if there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task and if the flame is not detected the boiler knows to re-attempt ignition.

This part is present in 6 different boilers in the Powrmatic range including the Powrmatic DFU 100 , DFU 250 , DFU 500 , DFU 750 , DFU 1000 .
