Product Information: Usually, there are two types of electrode, Ignition electrodes and flame sensing electrodes. The Ignition electrode is responsible for making the spark that starts off combustion within the appliance The flame sensing electrodes are responsible for ensuring there is a flame present in the burner. This is an important task and if the flame is not detected the boiler knows to re-attempt ignition.

This part is present in 4 different boilers in the Potterton range including the Potterton NETAHEAT 42644 , NETAHEAT 42644 , NETAHEAT 16/22 , NETAHEAT 16/22 .
