IDEAL 172057 DRAUGHT DIVERTER CPLT 8358-8506.

This part is based around the diverter valve section. The diverter valve is a directional water mechanism that is only found on a combi boiler, which allows hot water to be guided to either the radiators for central heating or to the taps for hot water. This is one of the reasons combi boilers are more popular in the market due to the fact a cylinder is not required and can still provide water to both the taps and radiators .
